3. Material

The function of waterproof ,fireproof ,heat insulation and sound insulation depends on the choice of different materials, as attached in the following picture. The thickness of rock wool or glass wool panels is very important for insulation from heat and Sound.Rock wool has almost the same function and price with glass wool. The difference exists in the material requirement for import from different countries. Now most of flat pack containers houses are made from 3 or more layers of sandwich panels, rock wool or glass wool in the middle, which enhance the comfort of indoor. If a lot of solid materials are put to use in the flat pack container house, the life span can reach 20 years or more.The solider materials, the higher price.However,even if you use all the solid materials, the construction cost is still greatly lower than your concrete or wood building.
